Get more patients for your clinic in the UK

The UK is the strictest advertising environment in English-language healthcare — you cannot legally name Botox in an ad — while NHS waiting lists hand private clinics the strongest self-pay demand in a generation.

We keep every asset inside the CAP codes and GMC guidance — no prescription-only medicine names, no unsubstantiated claims, no rulings with your clinic's name on them.
The the UK market

What actually decides who patients pick here.

UK private healthcare is governed less by licensing than by what you are permitted to say. The CQC registers and rates providers, the GMC governs doctors' conduct including honesty in advertising, and the ASA enforces the CAP codes with published, named rulings. Prescription-only medicines cannot be advertised to the public at all, which quietly rewrites how every aesthetics clinic markets itself. Meanwhile NHS waiting lists have pushed millions of patients toward self-pay treatment they never expected to buy — the strongest private demand signal in decades.

Medical hubs

The Harley Street Medical Area and Marylebone consulting rooms, Knightsbridge and Chelsea aesthetics, the Wilmslow and Alderley Edge belt serving Greater Manchester, Edgbaston's private cluster in Birmingham, and the HCA, Spire, Nuffield Health and Circle hospital networks nationally.

Patient catchment

London draws nationally and internationally, particularly Gulf and European patients into the Harley Street area. Regional clinics work realistic drive-time catchments, and self-pay orthopaedic and diagnostic patients routinely travel one to two hours for an earlier date.

Language & channels

English carries effectively all UK healthcare search, so translation is rarely the issue — register is. Patients expect plain, understated language and are actively suspicious of American-style superlatives, which also breach the CAP codes. Welsh-language provision matters for public-sector-facing work in Wales, and Arabic is worth serving properly for Harley Street practices with meaningful Gulf patient flow.

Cheaper per click than the US or the Gulf, but the compliance ceiling is far lower — the ads that win elsewhere simply cannot run here, so differentiation comes from what you are permitted to publish.

Demand in the UK

The specialties growing fastest here.

Every specialty has its own patient journey, objections and search behaviour. These are the four where we see the most competitive pressure — and the most opportunity — in the UK.

/01

Aesthetics & dermatology

The highest-demand and most heavily restricted category in Britain — almost everything a clinic wants to say about injectables is unsayable in public.

/02

Private dentistry & implants

NHS dental access has collapsed across much of England, pushing routine and restorative work into private practice.

/03

Private orthopaedics

Waiting-list-driven self-pay: patients in pain, deciding within weeks, comparing hospital groups on price and appointment date.

/04

Fertility & IVF

Long research cycles, HFEA-regulated success-rate language, and patients who compare clinics nationally rather than locally.

Compliance in the UK

Marketing that keeps your licence safe.

Governed by
CQC · GMC / GDC · ASA and the CAP codes · MHRA

Most private clinical providers in England must be registered with the CQC, and the resulting rating is public and routinely checked by patients before they enquire. Doctors are additionally bound by GMC Good Medical Practice, which requires advertising to be factual and not misleading, and dentists by equivalent GDC guidance. The binding day-to-day constraint is the CAP codes, enforced by the ASA: prescription-only medicines may not be advertised to the public, so botulinum toxin cannot be named or promoted on public-facing pages, in ads or in social posts. Before-and-after imagery for cosmetic procedures is restricted, and every efficacy claim must be substantiated before it is published, not after it is challenged.

We write aesthetics campaigns that never name a prescription-only medicine, hold substantiation for every claim we publish, and treat your CQC rating as a conversion asset rather than a footnote.

Compliance is not a constraint we work around — the trust signals that satisfy a regulator are the same ones that convince a patient. We will tell you when something a competitor is doing is not something we will replicate.

Self-pay enquiries in 6 months

A private orthopaedic practice was buying brand-adjacent clicks with no page answering the two questions its patients actually had: what it costs and how soon they could be seen. Publishing indicative self-pay pricing alongside realistic time-to-appointment, restructuring around procedure-and-city pages, and surfacing Doctify reviews and the CQC rating sitewide moved enquiries sharply without raising spend.
